Sequencing batch reactor system is operated in batch of mechanical biological treatment at same reactor with different sequences of time as shown below.
For SBR system, the process is considered a fill and draw activated sludge system and whole treatment was controlled by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). During system operation, the bacterial in sewage was decomposed the biodegradable and non-biodegradable organic matter in aerobic condition with sufficient oxygen supply generated by mechanical equipment. There is balancing tank at preliminary treatment which is used for storage purpose when the secondary treatment begin. The secondary treatment will be fill and aerated together when the sewage transfer from balancing tank to SBR tank. After complete aerated process, the sewage will settle in sufficient time and decant was start by mechanical equipment which control by PLC signals. Finally, the water will discharge to river.
